Dear Rose Park Parents:

    The Parent Student Organization would like to welcome you to Rose Park Magnet.  We know that this year brings lots of changes for many of us. Changes can be good and we will work to make sure our kids at Rose Park have a great year, whether they are coming back to old friends or starting fresh and making many new ones.
    We hope that you will consider being a part of our PTSO family. Our mission is to help promote open communication between parents, teachers, and staff. The goal is to encourage each child in their educational experience so that they may achieve their highest potential. The PTO is a non-profit organization. We support our school by engaging in fundraising projects, supporting the various student enrichment activities, providing a forum for parent, teacher, and student interaction through school events, and promoting open communications between parents, students, teachers, Rose Park and the community. 

    We know many of you have busy schedules. Please do not feel that you cannot be involved because of this. We want to create opportunities for everyone to be involved in some way. By being a part of the PTSO you will be informed of all of the events and activities happening at school. A weekly newsletter will go out to all PTSO members reminding you about events. This year we are looking forward to creating a wonderful school experience for our kids and opportunities for parents to be involved in this experience. We encourage all Rose Park parents with an interest in supporting the mission of the PTSO to join us at our next planning meeting.
